Picaflor Mezcal Wild
The brand behind it all
Started as a way to sell small, traditional distillers from Oaxaca in Europe, Picaflor Mezcal is a Mexican owned import that has an amazing ethos at its core. Picaflor is the Spanish word for Hummingbird, which feeds on the nectar of the agave plant. The Picaflor Wild is produced by Maestro Don Ramón Cruz García, who uses 70% espadín and 30% wild madre cuishe in this unique ensamble. The agaves are milled by tahona, fermented in cypress tanks, and double distilled in 300 litre copper pot stills.
